Pyrus Panels develops and manufactures the high-performance material lisocore® exclusively from renewable raw materials. With a team of around ten employees at our headquarters and production facility in Bad Aibling, Germany, our ambition is to inspire customers worldwide with innovative, modern and sustainable solutions. We supply customers across a wide range of industries, extending far beyond Europe.
In April 2026, Peter Borowsky and Florian Aichinger of Icom Advanced Materials acquired the company – a renewal from within. The material for the unique heart of every lisocore® product, the PowerDome, has been supplied by Peter Borowsky’s company, Icom Advanced Materials, from the very beginning.
Icom Advanced Materials specialises in the development and manufacture of innovative wood- and natural-fibre products. For more than 20 years, the company has been a pioneer in developing and producing innovative wood- and natural-fibre materials that can be formed into complex three-dimensional shapes.
With a particular focus on the automotive sector, Icom develops advanced materials for leading manufacturers including BMW, Volkswagen, Mercedes-Benz, Audi, Porsche, Lamborghini and Bentley. Its research activities and the range of potential applications are continuously expanding.
